ADEY WINS THIRD QUEEN’S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE
A
dey has received its third Queen’s Award for pioneering work in maintaining and protecting central heating systems.
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International
Trade celebrates Adey’s outstanding growth in overseas markets. Since magnetic filtration technology emerged in the UK more than a decade ago, it has built on its success and now trades in 19 European countries as well as China, the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Corrosion is evident in all systems where heated water passes through cast iron, copper pipework, radiators and boilers. Adey is a driving force in the manufacture of water treatment products serving the global heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry, protecting heating systems and saving money, energy and time. Edward Davies, Adey’s chief operating officer said:

record growth in 2017. Turnover rose 16% in 2017 following increasing customer demand and expansion into new sectors including leisure and hospitality, and student accommodation. Managing director Mark McManus said: “At this significant milestone we believe the future is electricity, as sustainable sources of energy including sun, wind and water power continue to improve its renewable credentials.” To meet demand and support further growth, the business has appointed three new regional specification managers in the South, Midlands and North.
