AQUATECH PRESSMAIN
Storyhouse in Chester is a fully integrated cultural centre comprising a theatre, cinema and library. The project includes the redevelopment of the 1937 Odeon cinema, which retains many of its art deco features. The site had a historic water management
problem which, due to its knowledge and expertise, Aquatech Pressmain was able to solve. The business designed and Installed pumps and a large collection tank to hold excess rainwater, allowing the centre to manage the water, releasing it into the main drains when appropriate and preventing any local flooding. If you have a similar challenging project and would like Aquatech
Pressmain to help please call Aquatech Pressmain on 01206 215121.

FUJITSU
Fujitsu Air Conditioning (UK) has introduced a new range of wall mounted R32 units for residential and commercial properties. The four models boast cooling capacities of 2-4.2kW and heating outputs from 2.5- 5.4kW. Each system is ErP rated A++ and benefits from a high density multi-path heat exchanger and a high efficiency fan. The indoor units (ASYG07/09/12/14KMTA)
measure 270 x 834 x 222mm, and a Lamda heat exchanger, large cross flow fan and R32 refrigerant ensure high efficiency. A new internal airflow design ensures an even and comfortable distribution of air, as well as quiet operation at 20dB(A). The outdoor units completing the R32 systems are available in two sizes. The largest capacity model (AOYG14KMTA) measures 540 x 799 x 290mm, while the remaining three (AOYG07/09/12KMTA) are 541 x 663 x 290mm.

CAMFIL
Camfil will be showcasing its solutions for improving the health and productivity of UK work spaces at the Facilities Show onJune 19-21 at London’s ExCeL. Focusing on ways to prevent poor indoor air quality (IAQ), Camfil will be helping visitors ‘see’ the invisible nasties infiltrating our airways using an on- stand Virtual Reality experience. The smallest of particulates (PM1) can sometimes get
through many of the standard filters used in air ventilation systems. These PM1 particles are the most damaging. With much of the facilities management sector’s business in Britain’s congested towns and cities, ensuring effective air filtration should be a priority. Camfil’s range of air filters and standalone air purifiers/air cleaners include options for office and industrial spaces, as well as specialist solutions for the healthcare sector. Visit Camfil on stand P450 to find out more.

STOKVIS
The high performance Econoplate BV Series of semi-instantaneous hot water units are responsive, compact and offer lower capital cost compared to traditional solutions. Specifiers have a wide choice of sizes and outputs to suit premises with modest plant room space and medium levels of hot water demand. Econoplate plate heat exchangers are combined with different sizes of storage
vessel; the hybrid unit takes up less space than installing a separate Econoplate PHE. The BV can supply domestic hot water direct on demand, or rapidly reheat the stored volume (300, 500, 800 or 1,000l). There are five heat output capacities, from 56 to 231kW, with flow rates from 606l in 10 minutes to 1551l in 10 minutes. Peak output over a one hour period can be 4,851l. Based on a primary flow temperature of 80°C, recovery time for the smaller stores can be six minutes.
