AEME LTD Partners with the NAADUK Training Academy

ollowing the launch of the NAADUK Training Academy in October, AEME LTD who have been delivering courses for the ventilation maintenance industry for over 30 years are proud to announce a strategic partnership to complement their qualifications. The courses that AEME provides are a way to introduce new starters to the industry to the processes, standards and legislation that is embedded throughout the trade. For companies and individuals both the Hands on Ductwork Cleaning and Fire & Smoke Control Damper Inspection, Testing & Installation Courses, taught at the CITB ATO, are ideal to learn the skills needed or to brush up on their knowledge to become compliant in this ever changing industry.
NAADUK Training Academy, have seen the history and quality of the courses provided by the AEME instructors and have embedded the learning materials offered by the two-day courses into their own SQA approved qualifications. When it comes to the ventilation maintenance industry, there has been a historical lack of clear pathways for individuals to truly gain competence and compliance across all the areas that need to be covered. By working in tandem these organisations, with the backing of the NAADUK Association, are able to take a trainee and through in-person and online training to raise the standards of the industry as a whole.
Peter Reid, President of NAADUK, said ‘there should be a complete pathway for individuals to learn the skills they need to ensure the safety of occupants and users of buildings across the country. The cost of any training and qualification to reach the highest levels of competence shouldn’t prohibited any learner from boosting their knowledge. NAADUK TRAINING ACADEMY NAAADUK Training Academy will be delivering a
range of qualifications suited to the ventilation industry and offering the highest level qualifications available to the UK market.
The academy offers three qualifications the Level 3 GV3L 04 – SCQF Level 6 Ventilation Maintenance Award covering all aspects of ventilation hygiene as well as fire damper testing and inspection, SVQ Level Two in Heating and Ventilating Ductwork Installation alongside SVQ Level Three Heating and Ventilating Ductwork Planning & Installation.
