temperature and humidity are required, as is critical in temperature-sensitive data centre environments. Using inverter-driven technology with BLDC compressors, users can maximise their sites’ energy efficiency, helping to reduce overall running costs of the IT equipment. With capacities of up to 140kW for down flow, and 105kW for up flow configurations, the i-NEXT DX range is equipped to deal with a variety of data centre and computer room applications. Following on from Mitsubishi Electric’s 2016 purchase of

DeLclima, the parent company of the RC Group, the launch of the i- NEXT DX range is said to

establish a strong position for the company’s products within the UK market.

“With the demands for faster, more powerful IT infrastructure only increasing, cooling

equipment has never been more important. A critical commercial requirement for data centre managers is to ensure a low overall operating cost, and a key element of this involves

installing cooling plant that is as energy-efficient as possible,” explains Deane Flint, sales director for Mitsubishi Electric. “This and the products to

follow show how serious we are about delivering a complete solution for any building or sector. Not only can our customers now purchase

market-leading air conditioning, heating and ventilation products from us, they are also able to access state-of-the-art, dedicated IT Cooling.”

SCAC range boosts IA Q

into IT cooling B T

osch Commercial and Industrial has launched a new range of high- efficiency Single Commercial Air

Conditioner s (SCAC): The Climate 5000 SCAC Split concealed ceiling mounted range, and the Climate 5000 SCAC Split cassette range, which will provide high quality air conditioning and boost air purity. The SCAC solutions are fully compliant with the European ErP 2013 standard (EcoDesign Directive 2009/125/EC) which governs both air conditioning equipment, and its subsequent installation. With both ranges being A++ rated for cooling, they are suited to new and retrofit

installations, in both small commercial and large domestic properties looking to maximise efficiency savings and reduce their carbon footprint.

The Climate SCAC solutions have been designed with optimum user comfort in mind. Both ranges come with a three- speed fan (Hi, Mi, Lo), and a sleep function which controls the ambient temperature during night-time use – raising the standard of improved comfort.

Bosch Commercial’s SCAC range has five operating modes as standard: Auto, Cold, Heat, Ventilation, and Dehumidifier. Each mode is able to function according to the application and comfort requirements of the user – resulting in quality performance and efficiency.

Both SCAC solutions have capacity for wired control operability, while the Bosch Climate 5000 SCAC Split cassette range can be enhanced via remote control usability.

Shaun Mansbridge, business development director at Bosch

Commercial and Industrial, said: “The launch of our new high-efficiency SCAC range offers the best option for customers looking to maximise their comfort, either at work or in the home, while simultaneously caring f or the environment.”
