he ninth annual HVR Awards took place at London’s Chelsea Harbour Hotel on Thursday October 25, where the best products and services across the HVAC sector were
rewarded with a coveted flame trophy. Guests were welcomed to a drinks reception before being
called into the glittering hall for dinner with entertainment by the host for the evening and renowned comedian Tom Ward. “Voice of the Balls” Alan Dedicoat assisted Tom in the awards
presentation, seven of which were chosen by a distinguished panel of industry experts. The remaining awards were chosen by an online industry vote including a new award for the year – the Community Spirit Award. This award went to BSS for its Mind charity partnership which meant all the money raised in the evening’s charity fundraiser went to the Mind charity. A highlight of the evening was the Lifetime Achievement
award, presented to Peter Reid, an industry stalwart in the ventilation hygiene and ductwork sectors.
