System fi ltration is worth it in the long run
With the energy price cap rise being introduced in April, the increasing cost of heating homes and businesses is contributing to one of the most impactful cost-of-living crises within the UK, with all consumers facing a huge rise in their energy bills

ith many looking for ways in which both homeowners and business can cut their heating bills, there has never been a better
time to invest in cost-eff ective system treatment products for new or existing heating systems. By doing so, households can save a signifi cant amount on annual heating bills, as well as prevent those costly boiler breakdowns. This can easily block a boiler heat exchanger, boiler pump, or accumulate in radiators. In addition, natural minerals in the water can solidify and cause limescale. Common symptoms include noisy pipes, reduced heat levels, cold spots in radiators, increased energy costs, and boiler breakdowns. water areas, with a typical four-bedroomed house accumulating around 70kg of limescale in a year. Limescale deposits stick to heating elements, heat exchangers, pipes and radiators. This build-up can signifi cantly reduce heating effi ciency and reduce boiler life, as well as creating a “kettling” eff ect, giving rise to excess noise. Whilst fi lters and treatment chemicals are
becoming commonplace in domestic installations, direct limescale treatment methods are often overlooked. The Electrolytic Scale Reducer off ers simple, cost-eff ective, long-lasting protection. The combination of a copper body and an internal zinc anode releases zinc ions into the water. This reacts with limescale particles and changes their state, making them less likely to stick to key heating components – thereby reducing the risk of blockages and limited heat exchange performance.
