4 Service (K4S) in Wellington, Somerset has been successful in securing ongoing work with the NHS and others throughout the South West by off ering Hitachi’s Yutaki heating product range as the best solution to its customers’ needs. Recent projects at Weston-Super-Mare General Hospital Dental Suite and Bristol Royal Infi rmary Hospital were secured by K4S because of the unique features and high-quality range of Hitachi heating products that can be confi gured to meet a wide range of commercial requirements.
High-temperature solution At several NHS sites, the Hitachi S80 high-temperature air source heat pump unit has proved to be the best option. Tom Coldrey, K4S’s technical director said: “At Weston-Super-Mare General Hospital Dental Suite, replacing the existing LPG boiler with a low carbon, high-effi ciency alternative, in this case, the Yutaki S80 high-temperature heat pump, K4S was able to meet all the client’s heating and hot water needs.” With energy-saving features, year-round heating even at extreme
temperatures as low as -25oC, the S80 high-temperature heat pump is the best possible solution as it provides hot water up to 80oC with no need for an electric backup heater.
Unique smart cascade feature The Yutaki S80 range uses a smart cascade function that minimises energy consumption resulting in signifi cant energy savings and off ers
uninterrupted control for high annual performance. By adding a separate tank to the S80, the system is capable
of supplying the hospital’s dental suite with plenty of domestic hot water (DHW). Adding the optional Hi-Kumo App and Hi-Kumo Pro online monitoring tool means the customer can operate the system remotely with the added benefi t of remote diagnostics and access to real-time machine operating data for the installer.
