The RSC40 from ATS’s Omega range is a high- speed rotary capping machine, which can be supplied with up to 10-heads and offers speeds of up to 240bpm. It can accommodate both traditional magnetic clutch and advanced servo-controlled tightening technologies.

The Gemini LSC40 Linear Servo Capping machine is a revolutionary new style of machine which removes the need for expensive bottle change-parts and allows the machine to be mounted over an existing conveyor system and moved between production lines for maximum flexibility. Dependant on the number of capping heads and bottle handling system selected, production of up to 80bpm is easily achievable.

Also on show will be a model from ATS Packaging’s versatile range of bottle unscramblers that allow multiple container formats to be carefully sorted and orientated in a single machine system. The range has been designed and developed to provide an unrivalled combination of precision, quality and reliability.

Endless sustainable materials and pack styles continue to appease the market and chal-lenge automation simultaneously. Brillopak, a leading UK end-of-line retail case loading specialist, will debut the multi-material handling capabilities of its new high-speed Tray & Punnet PAKer. The machine automatically packs trays and punnets into retail cases neatly and is ready for any material trend – now and in the future.

Designed to help companies keep pace with increasing output of modern food and beverage production lines, while also adapting and transitioning from plastic to cardboard punnet packag-ing, Brillopak’s Tray & Punnet PAKer is the result of three years research and development, extensive in-house expertise and deep domain expertise. The 150 punnets-per-minute machine combines specialist robotics with patented servo-driven end

effectors and then deploys them in a pick-and-place operation that seamlessly addresses many of the challenges companies face when automating this traditionally manual process. Dustcontrol UK is set to exhibit a range of its highly effective extraction equipment as the company continues to mark 50 years of extraction solutions for the production industry.

The Dustcontrol team will be showcasing the firm’s extensive range of both fixed and mobile cyclone-based dust extractors, air cleaners, as well as a selection of mobile machines on Stand E30. The DC11-Module for example, which comes in several models, is an optimised stand-alone unit for source extraction and industrial cleaning. It has been designed to service up to six normal extraction points or several cleaning outlets at a time, and is modularly built, meaning it can be tailor-made to suit any manufacturing and production environment. As with all of Dustcontrol UK’s equipment, the DC11-Module can be fitted with HEPA 13 filters, allowing exhaust air to be safely returned to the work environment.

Alternatively, the firm’s evolved GFF (Good For Food) range of food and pharma-grade dust extraction accessories and equipment is also set to be on display. The GFF range is designed to offer efficient dust extraction and cleaning of food contact areas that previously may not have been allowed, while also opening up the possibility for recycling. On top of this, the Dustcontrol team will be showcasing its DC AirCube 500, DC AirCube 2000, DC Tromb 240V and DC 1800 EX Stainless Steel. The DC AirCube 2000 is the company’s most powerful single-phase air cleaner with a capacity of 1800m3/ hr. It comprises an energy-saving ECO-fan, a pre-filter, a HEPA H13 microfilter of 10m2, a filter indication lamp, and variable speed transmission to save energy consumption. It also has the capability to clean air from hazardous particles as small as 0.3 micrometres, including both silica dusts and airborne viruses. Industrial safety engineering specialist Euchner will use its stand at this year’s PPMA exhibition to launch two new and exciting products – the Industry 4.0 Ready CTS safety switch and CKS2 coded key system – and showcase its extensive range of guard locking products available for common fieldbus connections. The all-new, one-fits-all CTS is Euchner’s first FlexFunction device and expands the company’s product range by sitting between the all-round CTP and specialist CTM safety switch solutions, by combining the best of both worlds in a single switch while offering maximum flexibility. A key innovation of the compact CTS – which is IO-Link compatible and Industry 4.0 ready – is the company’s new FlexFunction feature that, by using the transponder- coded actuator to determine the switch’s function, allows a single device to perform a wide variety of functions that would otherwise require several switch
