DANTEX – STAND A20 Dantex will be marking its 50th anniversary during Labelexpo with both
on stand innovation and celebratory events. The company will present its latest innovation, PicoJet Digital UV inkjet press, developed by its advance engineering team. Working at 350mm width and at 75m/min (250ft/min), PicoJet incorporates 600dpi at 2.5pl dot size. It is ideally placed for high quality and long run lengths. It will also display PicoColour, its highly popular and versatile UV
inkjet press and a full range of letterpress, UV Flexo and dry offset materials, together with the Marathon range of plates and processors. Dantex’s full range of flexo sleeves and the latest anti-static sleeve systems can also be seen at the show.
BOBST - STAND A58, A60, A64 The BOBST stand will feature equipment in operation, exciting presentations and connectivity displays. As many as three narrow-mid-web in line UV flexo printing presses will be in demonstration: the M5X, the M1 and the M6 lines, all in their latest configuration and fitted with enhanced features. They will print and convert ‘live’ during label and flexible packaging production. Additional to the the inline flexo presses BOBST also has a brand new development in store. “It relates to packaging and we are
keeping it under wraps,” says Matteo Cardinotti, managing director of BOBST Florence and head of narrow and mid-web multi-process product line. Visitors to the stand will also learn about the very wide and comprehensive range of web-fed solutions BOBST offers in the different segments of the label industry.
Hall 4
ERHARDT+LEIMER - STAND D45 E+L will be presenting a
cross-section of its range of products for the label industry. On exhibition for the first time is a new web guider and a new web tension measuring amplifier. The new DR 2375 web guider from the
ELGUIDER product family was developed especially for the label industry. The unit is operated via a touch display (RT 4008). The PA 62 is a two-channel measuring amplifier
for connecting any load cells; it displays not only the sum signal, but also the web tension on the left and right hand side of the web separately. The SMARTSCAN system offers simple and inexpensive access to print image monitoring and is also a multi-talent: in addition to a video function with zoom, it also enables 100 per cent print image inspection, splice detection and uncovering of missing labels and unremoved matrix.
EBEAM, UTECO CONVERTING AND INX DIGITAL – STAND A25 ebeam Technologies, the developer and manufacturer of electron beam (ebeam or EB) solutions and its partners, Uteco Converting and INX Digital International, will unveil the first industrial end-to-end digital narrow-web solution for the safe mass-personalisation of indirect food contact flexible packaging and labels. The new solution will enable print and converting professionals, and brand owners in the flexible packaging sector take advantage of the proven market
opportunities around variable printing such as product personalisation, short run market testing, print-on-demand or to print-per-event and local area snap promotions. Because the INX Digital ebeam curable inks are photoinitiator-free, package converters will now be able to target consumers with indirect personalised food packaging.
Hall 5
SUN CHEMICAL - STAND E45 Using the theme ‘Brighter

The five zones on the stand include: Core Product Offerings, Digital, Functional and Effects, Brand Protection and Colour Management. Stand highlights will include the new UV flexo

AVERY DENNISON - STAND A31 Avery Dennison will introduce a number of innovations designed to drive sustainable growth. Its stand will feature five interactive zones, focusing on the key benefits of enhanced shelf appeal, performance, sustainability, intelligent solutions compliance and services. Avery Dennison will be demonstrating its latest solutions including MC FSC recycled paper facestock, Sensorial Collection of textured label materials, and clear hotmelt adhesive for chilled food labels. Rob Verbruggen, director communications Europe at Avery
Dennison, expands on the company’s plans for the show: “Labelexpo Brussels is the most important show in the industry, bringing all stakeholders to one central place. Officially it’s a European show, but we experience more and more interest from outside of Europe. For Avery Dennison this is the perfect place to show our broad range of solutions and innovations to the widest audience.” The company is hoping to appeal to converters and, indirectly, to end-users. Verbruggen says, “We are here to help our customers grow and we offer support along the entire chain, from choosing the right product to dealing with waste materials. We trust that this year Labelexpo will exceed customer expectations once again.”
