Major investment and contract win for Greif South Africa

Croxsons supply non-alcoholic gin brand with bold new packaging

Croxsons has recently worked with Sea Arch, a start-up producer of non-alcoholic gin. The premium spirit, blended and bottled in England, contains 11 botanicals and is twice distilled in a traditional copper pot with spring water. Croxsons teamed up with the Devon-based newcomers, to supply a pair of

distinctive bottles that have been designed and developed to Sea Arch’s exact brief. Taking inspiration from their fresh and rugged coastal environment, the bottles, a 700ml Moonea bottle and 250ml version, are spray coated with lead- free paint to a specific colour requirement and feature plain cork closures. Both products are available online from the Sea Arch website and from specialist retailers. Commenting on the project, Tim Croxson, Croxsons’ COO, said: “We pride

Vanderbijlpark will also be working towards achieving the globally recognised FSSC22000 Food Safety Certification, demonstrating their commitment to providing the best level of service and quality to customers in the food and beverage industry. Adedayo Olowoniyi, Greif’s regional director SSA said: “Greif prides itself on

its customer relationships and working with clients to ensure that contracts are successfully completed. The Vanderbijlpark factory already manufactures and supplies jerrycans, large and small steel drums to the Sub-Saharan African market. This investment will allow us to further expand our footprint and better serve our customers in this important region.”

ourselves on working in partnership with environmentally conscious customers to meet and deliver their individual requirements. Sea Arch is a great alternative for gin lovers, offering the consumer an alcohol-free option. “As a relative newcomer to the industry, we have been able to support them with our experience and knowledge gained from many years in the spirits sector. We have supplied standout bottles in two sizes and they have been well received.” Geoff Yates, founder of

Sea Arch, said: “As a start-up business it can be difficult to know where to start. Nikki, our contact at Croxsons, has been very helpful and guided us through the early stages of development and production.” A recent CGA report into drinking trends highlighted the non- alcoholic drinks sector as one of the fastest growing trends. Volume of sales was up by over 400 per cent in the period leading up to February 2019.

Frugalpac includes First Mile RecycleBox service for its customers

Frugalpac has partnered with First Mile to offer customers an inclusive recycling service for its innovative Frugal Cup. Customers joining the ‘coffee cup revolution’ can ensure sustainability through First Mile’s recycling post- back service, RecycleBox. Customers ordering any two cases of Frugal Cups will automatically be offered the service, where they can put their used cups in the box in which they were delivered, to be collected by First Mile’s RecycleBox courier network and correctly recycled. Whereas conventional paper coffee cups are usually made from plastic-coated virgin paperboard which is tricky to recycle, Frugal Cup is the world’s only recyclable paper cup made from recycled paper. The cups consist of 96 per cent recycled paperboard with a 4 per cent food-grade polythene liner and, with no waterproofing chemicals, the liner separates easily in the standard recycling process.

Developed by leading recycling company, First Mile, RecycleBox (recyclebox.co.uk) is an easy courier service offered to both businesses and consumers. The box can be filled with hard-to-recycle items or items that that are not traditionally recycled through household or commercial waste services.
