ince the mid 1980’s, Gelok International has been a premier manufacturer of low profile,
superabsorbent laminate and composite rolled goods. Following a recent investment in state-of-the-art equipment, Gelok International has extended its product range to include airlaids branded as TotalCore®. Both Gelok® superabsorbent laminates
and TotalCore airlaids can be used directly as an absorbing substrate or incorporated into a wide variety of finished products used to absorb aqueous fluids such as blood, exudate, and urine, while reducing bacterial activity and bad odors associated with these fluids.
BIOHAZARD
NEW! TOTALCORE AIRLAID Made from all-natural cellulose fibers, TotalCore airlaid is hydrogen bonded without latex or resin binders and can be customized with a variety of superabsorbent polymers for optimum absorbency. TotalCore airlaid effectively acquires and distributes fluids throughout the entire core. TotalCore airlaid is ultra-thin, highly
absorbent, and very pliable making it an ideal solution for feminine hygiene, incontinence, and wound care products. TotalCore airlaids for food packaging are made with FDA approved food grade superabsorbent polymers and natural cellulose fibers, making them a safe choice for use with poultry, seafood, meat, and fruit.

GELOK LAMINATES Using a variety of superabsorbent polymers, Gelok laminates can absorb many times their own weight in aqueous fluids and lock it into a gel to prevent leakage. Gelok laminates have excellent fluid retention under pressure, which means once the product has achieved the desired level of absorbency it is still relatively dry and easy to dispose. Gelok laminates also feature an extraordinarily thin profile and lightweight composition. Gelok laminates are designed to offer
absorbency rates and capacities tailored to meet specific applications. These applications include dewatering filtration, food tray pads, incontinence products, medical packaging, medical cleanup, underpads, wound care, urinal pads, and other usages where absorption of water- based fluid is needed.
