VENDEX PREVIEW

Gearing up for Vendex Midlands

Vendex Midlands on March 20 at the MK Dons Stadium in Milton Keynes, is already sold out with a growing reserve list of potential exhibitors.

T

he one-day vending event, known as the show

‘where the trade buys’ will see a host of new machines and products being launched.

Show director Phil Reynolds said: “It has sold out so quickly. All stands have been booked and we have had to start a reserve list just in case there are any last minute cancellations. “For any companies that have missed out on booking a stand, we advise that they should book a stand at Vendex North in November as there are limited stands available. This is the third time the event is being held in Milton Keynes with the venue proving to be a hit with exhibitors and visitors because of the good road links free parking. You can expect to see all the top names in vending at the show. Some exibitors offered a preview of what to expect from their stands.

• EVOCA (Stands 35-36 ) is encouraging visitors to make a point of getting hands-on with a must-see machine on its stand – the Kometa. The company believes the Kometa – the latest addition to Necta’s K range of coffee machines – is reinventing the HoReCa marketplace. One of the features of Kometa is the

extent to which its functions can be customised. You can create drinks to your personal specification to address the differing requirements of any HoReCa environment. The dispensing area of Kometa can host glasses of up to 20 oz. There’s also a movable cup holder; adjust it up or down to achieve the in-cup quality that both you and your customers demand. The Kometa’s waste bucket can be removed whilst leaving the drip tray in place, and vice-versa. And while you’re there you can also

take a look at two other exciting machines. The latest version of Necta’s Opera Touch is designed specifically to offer fresh-brew tea alongside instant coffee and soup. Finally, you can enjoy a sneak- preview of Necta’s forthcoming Soprano. It’s a machine that is described as a “veritable giant” of a snacks machines. UK Sales Director Andrew Barrow Andrew Barrow and the team will be on hand to share their expertise.

• Meanwhile Laura Barwell, head of business development at VMC (Stand 21) said: “Vendex is always a great event and we’re looking forward to seeing both new and familiar faces at the show.” “Our range of payment terminals enables our clients to choose the product that best suits their needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, something that’s needed more than ever in these changing times. Our

systems vary from simple plug and play contactless solutions that are very quick to install, to more complex cashless systems offering a variety of features and integrations that help to boost sales and provide valuable insights and reporting to operators. ” “We’ll also be bringing along our new kiosk as we’re keen to show visitors at Vendex Midlands the variety of POS solutions we now have on offer, and to share how with the power of VMC Flex in the background they can also increase spending with loyalty and promotions.”

• SB Software sees Vendex as a chance to field its strongest crew all in one place together, with its latest innovations ready on hand to demonstrate.

Whether or not you are a client already, you can drop by Stand 44/45 to assess several opportunities, including: • Automated Fleet Routing (the best routing anywhere) • Fridge Lock (connecting refrigerated units to extend the sales window and trigger interventions including operation via mobile phone)

• The Latest Functionality in Vendmanager • The ever more popular Nova Micro market Kiosk (fully featured and exceptional value)

• The benefits of integrating micro markets via Vendmanager (to underpin/accelerate efficiency and profitability). We look forward to seeing you on stand 44/45.
