ntries and nominations are still open for The Vendies 2024 open, but time is running out, so don’t miss the FEBRUARY 29 deadline. The event will be held on June 5 at the exclusive


Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, London, for the third year running. These awards will continue a longstanding


tradition of recognising and rewarding companies and individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the trade. Whether you are an operator or supplier to vending market, there are plenty of categories to enter or nominate in. This year, The Vendies are very pleased to announce a number of new awards as well as the return of some of last year’s hottest categories.


NEW CATEGORIES FOR SUPPLIERS INCLUDE: Best Hot Beverage Brand which is open to any hot beverage currently active and available on the UK vending market. Best Soft Drink Brand open to any soft drink, including flavoured and unflavoured water currently active and available on the UK vending market. The Vending Paper Cup Award is open to all vending paper cups currently available on the UK market.

NEW CATEGORIES FOR OPERATORS INCLUDE: Best Operator (Large) for operators with more than 100 employees. Best Operator (Medium) for operators with between 20 and 100 employees. Best Operator (Small) for operators with fewer than 20 employees. All three of the above categories are open to vending operators currently doing business in the UK.

NEW CATEGORIES OPEN TO BOTH SUPPLIERS & OPERATORS INCLUDE: Vending Hero – Nominations are called for in the Vending Hero Award which is presented to an industry innovator with at least 10 years of service to the vending industry. The Vending Hero is passionate about vending, goes above and

beyond for the sake of the industry, and is always willing to educate others and help them succeed. Automated Retail Award – This award seeks to reward a collaborative effort in automated retail solutions such as micro markets, refreshment destinations, break out areas, self-service stations, interactive kiosks etc. All operators, manufacturers and suppliers are invited to enter on behalf of their partners, with the award aiming of finding the best automated retail project/solution of the year. Sales Shark Award – This award seeks to reward outstanding achievements in a sales role. Your nomination can include evidence of revenue growth, customer retention numbers or growth, new accounts, success in sale of product, expansion into new areas.
