IER has been catching up with a few companies regarding new products. Michael Forbes, Lead Product Trainer at AEG, has provided an insight into AEG’s latest products.
E
arlier this year, we introduced our latest kitchen appliance range, which
is our biggest platform evolution in years, combining sleek design with advanced technology. This new range raises the bar on what’s possible with both innovation and style. At its centre are our advanced ovens, featuring the intuitive CookSmart Touch and CookSmart Touch+ displays. These interfaces make cooking simpler, smarter and more sustainable for users by off ering access to recipes, functions, and guidance designed to support intuitive and responsible cooking. Many of our core technologies focus on helping households make sustainable choices without compromise, the residual heat function in our AEG 9000 ProAssist with SteamPro Oven uses the oven’s retained warmth to complete the cooking

process, reducing unnecessary energy use. Several of our ovens also include smart features such as the Food Probe, ensuring dishes are cooked with absolute precision and no wasted energy, while our steam cooking technology locks in nutrients and fl avour for healthier, more effi cient cooking. Another example is our 7000 SenseBoil Induction Hob with SenseBoil® technology which detects rising bubbles to prevent pans from boiling over, saving on both energy and water. Alongside our new kitchen range, we’re also launching our new dishwasher range next year, as presented at IFA 2025. Select AEG models will be the only appliances on the market to combine minimal water consumption, energy effi ciency, and quiet operation. The new Favorit 7000, 8000, and 9000 series are built on a completely re- engineered platform, with a redesigned water system and refi ned fi t, feel and fi nish.

to innovation, form and function, these models eliminate unnecessary steps such as pre-rinsing while ensuring impeccable results. SuperSilent technology enables near-silent performance, as low as 35 dB(A), thanks to advanced software and optimised hydraulics. The range also introduces the 360Clean Pro spray arm, which removes stubborn residues in just 90 minutes without extra water, and DualZone Cleaning, allowing powerful lower-basket scrubbing and gentle upper-basket care in one effi cient cycle. Based on AEG 9000/9000 XXL models with 35 dB on energy label declaration while using the Eco cycle with the ExtraSilent option, measured according to EN 60704-1, EN 60704-2-3.
