ith a multitude of product categories focusing on everything electrical
and electronic, including AI, robotics, automotive technology, computing, audio, vision, personal health, gaming, and many more, our focus concentrated on the ongoing enhancements of TV. During LG’s press conference, several
products of its 2026 TV line-up were announced, including the LG OLED G6. This is LG’s flag ship stand-mount set,
upgrading the previous OLED G5 of which earned many excellent reviews owing to the introduction of its new OLED panel increasing a brighter view than its predecessors. Available in 48 to 83-inch sizes, the LG OLED G6 will be available in the UK later this year. LG have also announced a 97-inch model, though it appears it will have a different panel type to the G6. No guide prices have been announced for any models. Two LG Gallery TV models were also announced, available in 55 or 65-inch sizes, featuring an anti-glare panel. These are said to have been designed in tandem with museum curators for a mentioned ‘gallery-like’ viewing experience at home, hence, when not viewing a programme, users have access to LG’s Gallery+ service, which delivers over 4,500 works of art.
Once again, Samsung did not disappoint With an array of various technologies and innovations. Vision was at the forefront with its latest Freestyle+ portable projector, brighter than its predecessors and more flexible with AI- powered improvements. Similar to previous models, it’s a compact
cylinder that’s easy to move around, though that’s where the similarity ends. The Samsung Freestyle+ has the benefit of increased brightness to project much clearer in a variety of light conditions. It also has a 180-degree rotating design that enables the projection of images at almost any angle. Ideally built-in is a 360-degree speaker which is Q-Symphony compatible, so it can be synchronised with compatible Samsung soundbars. With the increase of demand for large
screens, Samsung announced and revealed its 130-inch Micro-RGB set, the R95H. A technology first seen at IFA Berlin last
September, Micro-RGB uses microscopic Red, Green and Blue Backlight illumination. This technology provides for greater precision, as well as colour-dimming for more accurate results.
Similar to other very large screens, the Samsung R95H isn’t your average TV set. Having a screen of 130-inches, whilst fabulous to have, it’s not ideal for most homes. Let’s face it, convincing other household members it would
