over the past months it was great to catch up with many at various Shows and events, sharing the positive vibes, irrespective of the happenings we are unable to control, though we can be resilient and somewhat adapt accordingly. Synonymous for its camaraderie our industry is not just about product, it’s about people and it’s always fabulous to meet with industry friends. Talking of which, the recent gathering of experienced and knowledgeable judges for the IER Awards was one such occasion. Then there has been the privilege of attending the opening of the new Cookology Showroom and catching up with MD Andrew Wright and Duncan Williams who is heading the ICEKING development with the support of Andrew’s successful Cookology organisation. An interview with Duncan resulted in a positive future for ICEKING see page 36.
Caught up with another good friend, Graeme Milne of Ecogenesys. You can read about this on

26 Repair & Assure Spring 2026 PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE This bumper issue covers a vast amount of
interesting material, including the amazing list of Finalists for the forthcoming IER Awards. Not just an increased number of entries this year, the content was much more in depth. So much so, we had to send copies of the entries to the judges well in advance of the actual day of nominees’ selection. This year was not easy for the judging panel. The IER team would like to take another opportunity to say, Thank You, to its judging panel for their tenacity in thoroughly wading through all the entries. It must also be mentioned that after such a thorough amount of research and rigorous judging, all the fi nalists are deserving winners in their own rights by reaching this fi nal stage, so WELL DONE. Finally, on behalf of the IER team, we look
forward to hearing from you regarding your relevant IER Awards nominations and if not before at some other event, we look forward to seeing you on the 3 July in London. All the very best for now
