Freeview Play hits 10 million users F


reeview has announced that its on- demand platform Freeview Play is


now used in over 10 million homes. This, the platform said, follows over 14 million sales and cements its position as the fastest growing TV platform in the UK. Launched in 2015, Freeview Play is built into the majority of new TVs and available to viewers for free, with no monthly fees or joining costs. The platform provides more than 80 live TV channels alongside 10 on-demand players; BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, My5, UKTV Play, CBS Catchup Channels UK, Horror Bites, POP Player, STV Player and BBC Sounds. The platform has more than 30,000 hours of


on-demand TV content. Users can explore the full range of content via the universal search function and a carousel of content recommendations on Explore Freeview Play, available at Channel 100. Neema Shah, head of marketing at Freeview

Consumer spending grew 14.2% in October


Recovery loan scheme is extended for six months Chancellor Rishi Sunak extended the Covid Recovery Loan Scheme for businesses for another six months in the Budget on October 27. The scheme was launched in April as a bridge

From March 25, 2022, new laws introduced in the Commercial Rent (Coronavirus) Bill will establish a legally-binding arbitration process for commercial landlords and tenants who have not already reached an agreement.

angemaster has upgraded its American-style and


French-door fridge freezer models, with improvements in areas such as energy efficiency, internal features and noise levels. Rangemaster’s SXS, SXS Deluxe


and DXD models have received energy enhancements which reduce running costs by up to 12%, and a number of internal improvements include new LED spotlights with surrounds in a contemporary Inox finish and a co-ordinating flat metal panel that runs the full length of the back wall.
