The first award of the afternoon was the Best Accessories Brand, which was awarded to BG Electrical. The company commented: “The team had a fantastic afternoon celebrating with the best in the industry, and we see this award as a reflection of our long-standing commitment to quality, innovation and the trust our customers place in us.”
Next up was Best Wholesaler: 1-5 Branch - sponsored by Humax. This was won by TEP Electrical Distributors, who said: “For a single- branch business in the North East, to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the biggest names in the industry and come away with national recognition for a second year running is testament to the unwavering support of our loyal customers and partners.”
Rointe Heating was recognised as Best Heating Brand 2025. Kayte Warren said: “Receiving the Best Heating Brand award at the EW Awards is an incredible honour. We are immensely proud and grateful for this recognition — thank you to everyone who continues to trust and support the Rointe brand.”
Up next was Best Lighting Brand, which was deservedly awarded to Ansell Lighting. Mike Talbot said: “It has been a really great year for us, with new products, some amazing projects and also creating some exciting new services to support our wholesale and contractor customers. This is the perfect reward for all the hard work from the whole team.”
British Electrical and Manufacturing Company (BEMCO) was named as Best Wholesaler - 6-25 Branches, as well as winning Marketing Initiative of the Year for the launch of its Outlet website. The company said: “It is testament to all the hard work the entire team has put in over the last 12 months and beyond. A good example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.”
Di-LOG was named Best Safety/Security Brand for an amazing sixth year running. They said: “This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from everyone who took the time to vote for us over the past few months. Your trust and confidence mean the world to us, and we are deeply grateful.”
City Electrical Factors (CEF) was the deserving winner of Best Wholesaler: 25+ Branches, also taking home the trophy for Best Wholesaler Website. Andrew Moseley said: “These awards highlight the passion, expertise and hard work from the CEF teams, together with the support from our customers and supplier partners.”

AWEBB took home the award for Best Training Provider. Barry Hall commented: “This award is a real testament to the commitment we’ve made as a group to raising standards and investing in our people. For me personally, it’s incredibly rewarding to see the hard work behind the scenes being celebrated at a national level.”
Best Ventilation Brand, a new category for 2025, was won by Vent-Axia. Katie Scott said: “This recognition reflects the confidence our customers and industry partners place in us, and we’re proud to be acknowledged for our commitment to quality, innovation and service. Thank you to everyone who supported us.”
