A very popular category, Best New Product was hotly contested this year. The ultimate winner was the Triumph Slim from LED lighting company Robus. The Triumph Slim is an attractive recessed light that neatly conceals a colour-selectable switch under a satisfying twist-and-lock IP65 bezel. “A huge thank you to the judges for recognising the innovative engineering and design that went into creating our triumphant downlight. With many of the top brands in the industry making the longlist for this category, the competition was steep, so we are delighted to be able to celebrate the success of the Triumph Slim.”

I started working as a journalist in the electrical sector in 2000 and fell in love with the industry. Then in 2011 I set up MacLean Communications, a PR Consultancy, where I feel very fortunate, since I really enjoy writing about the technology and the issues that matter to the sector. I am very grateful for the award and to be able to write about what I love.”
