move to date, and have taken the keys to our new home in Cole Green Lane, Welwyn Garden City. At over 26,000sq ft, it is a state-of-the-art new warehouse and offi ce facility. This will allow us to increase our stock levels, to not only meet demand now, but into the future for our products.


We are a global business, and operate fi rst class manufacturing facilities across the globe. We want to maximise and leverage the far-reaching capabilities of our factories in Slovakia, Austria and China, securing maximum stock levels across all ranges. By retaining high stock levels we are inevitably able to respond to orders faster. We want to ensure we retain a strong stock holding of the faster-moving products, and ensure we are able to keep up with the demand in line with our customers expectations.


Meeting customer demand Covid was a time in which we really demonstrated our agility, versatility and ultimately our commitment to our customers. However, as we exited Covid, the pressures of demand for product were enormous. I’m sure this was the same for most manufacturers in the UK, but our team made every eff ort to meet the demand. They demonstrated huge commitment and dedication to the business. We remained fully operational throughout the entire period, and used the most innovative transport methods to ensure we received stock and continued to

supply. Whilst many manufacturers signifi cantly pulled back on their levels of production, some manufacturers, including ourselves, kept trading through. During this period, we gained new clients and consolidated existing ones – we grew in stature and strength with a renewed confi dence as we headed out of lockdown. Whilst our core products remain a vital part of our business, other ranges including HFT LSFOH products are also gaining strong traction. We are partnering with wholesalers to promote the potential of these unique products and raise awareness of their invaluable safety credentials. We are ultimately leading the market with products such as these and are driving specifi cation where possible. We continue to develop and introduce products to the market that own unique and important properties. During the past 12 months, we have joined forces with even more independent and national wholesalers. We retain an overarching commitment to the buying groups we are affi liated to which include Fegime, AWEBB, AIEW, MIDA, IBA and ANEW.


Looking forward


With a growing customer base, it’s vital that we have the right team in place and in the future we are looking to make new appointments across the board to help facilitate further growth and expansion.


Product development remains key, and this year we have plans in place to launch a new Starline dado range whilst modernising and refreshing a number of existing ranges, as well as accessories. Having the internal resources across the group to develop new products and to react to market needs and changing conditions is a strength that we continue to promote. We are quick to react and adapt! Indeed, our international growth is being led by the UK. In Australia this year, our HFT range has been specifi ed as the cable management product of choice across the vast metro system upgrade programme, in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane - a huge coup for us.


This really feels like the next step in the Univolt UK journey. Our brand awareness is strong and we are considered to be the country’s leading supplier of cable management products. With a fi rst-class team in place, a state-of-the-art site and a reputation built on quality, value and excellent service, we are now tasked with keeping up with demand. Now, with the right infrastructure in place, we absolutely expect to deliver on our customers and own expectations!
