2D Gear Trays The Meridian LED lighting range includes Luna SMD 16 Series circular LED Bulkheads. Fitted with the latest SMD technology, these bulkheads have LEDs pre-fitted into the metal base plate or gear tray.
Whilst these products are designed as new or complete replacement fittings, the Meridian brand now includes these Gear Trays as stand-alone replacements for use with already installed 2D bulkheads. There are five options in the range – the basic gear tray, one with microwave sensor, one with sensor and a 3-hour emergency facility, one with this emergency facility plus a back-up lithium battery and, finally, a 3-hour emergency with microwave sensor. All trays have a 16W rating and will deliver 1700 lumens. HellermannTyton redefines cabling with innovative metal clip
Cable management specialist, HellermannTyton, has launched a metal nail fixing solution as a quick and efficient means of securing cables, while ensuring full compliance with the BS7671 wiring regulations. With updated regulations in July 2015 stipulating the use of metal clips within the escape routes of buildings, there has been an increased demand for metal fixings. The new metal nail clip from HellermannTyton ensures compliance and maximum safety as the cabling will remain securely fastened in a fire thanks to its unique flex design. Using patented HellermannTyton technology, the metal cable clips come in a range of sizes, colours, and coatings. The variety in size means that they can accommodate a number of wire sizes.
