Dimplex Bathroom Panel Heater – a solution for smaller bathrooms

ESP adds IP67 Rated Call Points to Fire

Protection Range ESP is adding to its Magfire Fire Protection range with two weatherproof Manual Call Point products that are compatible with their addressable and conventional fire alarm systems. Approved to the latest EN54-11 standard,

the Call Points are IP67-rated, which makes them suitable for wet environments including swimming pools, as well as harsh external applications. Featuring robust red housing for easy identification, the manual resettable Call Points offer users the benefits and safety advantages of a glass-free resettable operating element. The addressable Call Point version contains an isolator module to protect against system

short circuits. ESP’s Magfire Fire Protection range includes the Magpro Addressable and Mag Conventional

Dimplex’s new electric Bathroom Panel Heater has a three-in-one design for smaller bathrooms, providing space heating, towel airing with Lot 20 compliance for peace of mind. This splash-proof heater combines high-comfort

convection heat together with an aluminium rail for drying/airing towels. Together with the mirrored front, it delivers a compact, three-in-one solution without compromising on individual space heating or towel airing appliances. Economical and efficient with a heat output of

1kW, the Dimplex Bathroom Panel Heater is much better at space heating compared to a towel rail or warmer. With a typical output of only 50-150W, most people fail to realise, until installed, that towel rails will not heat the room – which can leave bathrooms cold and unwelcoming. The Dimplex Bathroom Panel Heater not only

delivers the warmth house owners are expecting, it also comes with Lot 20 compliant controls, helping installers to meet the requirements of the ErP Directive for local room heating products (applicable from January 2018). The Bathroom Panel Heater comes in a modern metal fascia or a tinted mirror effect with de-misting capability and has user friendly, advanced control with splash-proof capsense technology and a colour changing, graphical display. The wall mounted design aids quick fixing installation. For more information call 0800 028 6122 or visit:

High power die-cast LED floodlights added to Timeguard’s branded-quality range

Slimline die-cast 70W, 100W and 150W outdoor floodlights have joined the Timeguard LED line up. They deliver up to 11,220 lumens, diffused over a 100° beam angle by smart lens and polished reflector designs. This means that energy-saving LED can now match the performance and coverage of old-style halogens for heavy-duty outdoor security and lighting jobs. As is now expected from Timeguard, these are among the easiest units to install, with full sized, easy- access wiring blocks, a second weatherproof gland for looping in and out, and easily-adjustable wall brackets. Lights like these are always offered as sealed units and lamps cannot be changed, so you need to know the whole assembly will last the distance.

48 | electrical wholesaler June 2017 Timeguard always uses superior components and

large cooling fins designed into the body to prevent overheating, which could shorten product life. This is a further reassurance of Timeguard’s branded quality, which is also backed up by an extended guarantee.
