Project Sales Engineer (North/ North East) £40,000 - £50,000 basic + comm + benefits
Great sales position with this well established manufacturer of commercial, industrial, exterior lighting products. You will be selling the lighting range to consultants, specifiers, contractors, end users as well as supporting the key distribution partners within the sales region. The ideal candidate will be an experienced lighting salesperson with technical ability – able to sell on features and benefits and have the versatility to sell in to 4- 5 routes to market.
Business Development Director – Electrical Accessories £50,000-£55,000 basic + bonus + company car/ allowance + pension expenses Fantastic career move for an experienced hands on commercial manager with the ability and contacts to develop new channels and routes to market. Our client is a well-established distributor of wiring accessories offering a quality range of products and in inhouse assembly team for bespoke applications. The ideal candidate will be living in the Herts/Beds area, have experience selling Lighting or Electrical products or solutions to medium and large contractors, with a proven track record of success.
Lighting Area Sales Manager (Southern England) £35,000 - £40,000 + bonus + mobile, tablet, laptop, 25 days holiday Our Client, a European designer and manufacturer of cutting edge Lighting and Electrical products is looking for a motivated and hungry Area Sales Manager to cover the South West and South East areas of the UK. You will be calling on existing wholesale clients on the patch, with a brief to nurture them and grow their spend, whilst generating new business from mainly wholesalers and some contractors. The ideal candidate will be living along the M4 or M3 corridors, with experience working for a manufacturer selling to wholesalers and contractors, or a strong wholesaler representative looking to advance their career with a manufacturer. We are now recruiting for an Account Manager to nurture / support existing relationships, alongside a focus on building relationships with key strategic partners across a wide audience spectrum of electrical wholesalers, tile retailers, architects and specifiers. We are looking for a sales and relationship professional that is looking for a new challenge and is ready to develop their career in a business that will make the most of their talents and help them develop their strengths.
The role is to increase sales and market share by building excellent relationships with existing and new key partners. Electrical Wholesale/Electrical Contracting external sales background an advantage but not a necessity. They must have the ability to grow business and cement relationships with existing customers, as well as developing new customer trading relationships. We will also consider a candidate from outside of this market if relevant experience and skills can be demonstrated.
The qualities we are looking for in our successful recruit is that they must be driven, target orientated and no stranger to hard work with stretching but achievable targets. They will need to prioritise their own workload whilst also being able to work with our
inhouse sales team. We will also look to the successful candidate to monitor and report on sector developments and competitor activities.
A full driving licence is essential and some experience of dealing with major construction and housebuilding companies would also be advantageous.
The role will suit someone living within easy access to the motorway network. The territory covers London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
