Programmable immersion controller from Sangamo
The Powersaver Dual Flexi 2 from Sangamo is an electronic immersion controller with programmable operation that is suitable for Single, Twin and Dual element immersion heaters.
I
t bridges the gap between the bulky, aged electro-mechanical immersion controllers and the more complicated digital versions.
A table of pre-selectable adjustable programs is offered, covering all of the low rate electricity tariffs, including Economy 7, Economy 10 and Eco 20:20 times.
Turn the Installer Switch to the program of choice (refer to Installation and User Instructions). Adjustment is possible to the preset times enabling the program periods to be reduced or cancelled as required. The review button allows ON/OFF times to be checked & there is automatic GMT/BST changeover.
There is a half hour, one-hour and two-hour boost function, with a digital display countdown clock, allowing the user to clearly see boost
times.There is also a programmable boost function for further end user convenience. This program is deliberately limited to a maximum of twp hours, meaning expensive electricity is not being wasted during peak times. The Sangamo range of specialist time switches and heating controls is

New compact Q-Nect IP junction boxes by Unicrimp
Unicrimp expands its comprehensive offering of Q-Nect junction boxes with the introduction of a new, compact version of the original IP66-rated weatherproof enclosure.
T
he new slimline Q-Nect IP junction box measures 85mm x 55mm x 52mm and is designed for maximum efficiency to ease installation in places where space is limited. It comes furnished with 4 x 3 Way Lever Connectors with a curved lid which provides the installer with additional space for wiring. The lid is also locked using quarter turn fasteners making the job quicker and easier.
The junction box includes eight membrane entry points and offers installers the option of using up to six M20 cable glands. The M20 threaded entries with membrane ensure that the IP66 rating is maintained without needing to use any tools or locknuts. It also offers fixing directly to a wall using four screws into the pre-moulded holes in the base. It is compatible with Unicrimp’s single and double Brass Earthing Plates and is offered in black or anthracite grey finishes, thus also complementing Click Scolmore’s range of Aquip66 outdoor sockets and switches.
