Wireless modules
Anglia is fully supporting the latest Panasonic wireless module range with solutions that encompass a wide range of technologies, with a focus on helping design engineers increase their product’s speed-to-market. The Panasonic product portfolio covers today’s latest communication protocols with ready-to- use modules for Bluetooth® BR/EDR, Wi- Fi and Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Combo. Product highlights include the PAN1762 Series Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy wireless module which features a high-speed PHY operating up to 2 Mbps, the
communication range of the module can also be significantly extended using the LE coded PHY at 500 kb/s or 125 kb/s. A new channel selection algorithm improves the performance in environments which
are busy at 2.4 GHz. Furthermore, to provide maximum flexibility, the module can be operated in hosted as well as stand-alone mode.
MEMS sensor technologies Anglia has also expanded the range of Panasonic sensor technologies with the addition to its profile of the Grid-EYE Infrared Array Sensor, a pixel array infrared detection sensor in compact SMD format using MEMS technology. The Grid- EYE thermopile sensor features 64 thermopile elements in an 8 x 8 grid format, the sensor can detect people or animals even whilst stationary allowing them to be used in a much wider range of applications than a traditional PIR sensor. Typical applications include motion, presence, temperature and hot spot detection, safety and lighting control, building control and energy saving, people tracking / counting, occupancy detection and comfort and gesture control.
Mechanical switches
Anglia customers now have full access to Panasonic switches suitable for applications across a broad range of industries.
Panasonic switches are available in a wide range of sizes and operating forces and offer very low contact resistance as well as high contact reliability. These are high quality switch solutions offering excellent tactile feedback as well as long life of up to 1 million cycles. The Panasonic range supported by Anglia includes detector switches, light touch switches, push switches, toggle switches and power rocker switches.
