PLASTIC

INJECTION MOULDING

Manufacturing your components in plastic requires careful consideration to a number of key areas. Factors such as environmental temperature and exposure to UV light, as well as structural strength will determine both design and material selection. Over moulding or twin-shot moulding can also be used to enhance the aesthetic or ergonomic performance of your device.

At Gelec, our Project Managers will take your designs from concept through to delivery of component parts. Tool design and manufacture is followed by samples for Engineering qualification and approval. With warehousing in the UK and Hong Kong, we can support production requirements around the world.

POST MOULD PROCESSES

Adding additional processing of parts after moulding is an ideal opportunity to minimise vendor base and optimise component availability. Our capabilities include:

CNC machining Screen printing RFI shielding
