Grubs donates to new local Hospice shop
B
olton-based footwear brand, Grubs,
has donated a huge selection of products to a newly-opened local clothing and footwear charity store – which raises money for Bolton Hospice. The family-owned business is helping to
generate funds for patients and families staying at the Hospice. In addition to the pre-loved items, the shop will also be selling a selection of new items from local businesses, which includes Grubs. In partnership with Market Place Bolton, the
Hospice has transformed the former Topman unit on the first floor into a beautifully curated space filled with pre-loved bridal gowns, occasion wear, vintage treasures, footwear and designer finds. The store is called Reloved and it is concentrating on offering specially curated items that wouldn’t normally be found in a charity shop. Jan Foster, Managing Director and Co-Owner
of Grubs, commented: “We are very pleased to be able to donate Grubs products for this extremely worthy cause which is very close to our hearts. We are a local business and have been for nine generations, so it is good to be able to offer something back to our local community.”
