One of the first menswear brands to be attending Footwear & Fashion LIVE in August, Ana Lambert caught up with Matthew Rawlings from Douglas & Grahame to find out more about its formalwear brand Remus Uomo and what it’ll be bringing to the show in August…

Q: Remus Uomo has become a recognised name in menswear. What has been the secret to building and sustaining the brand? Matthew Rawlings: For Remus Uomo, success has come from understanding the contemporary menswear customer and evolving alongside changing lifestyles and trends. Since the brand was established, we’ve focused on delivering sharp, design-led collections that combine quality craftsmanship with strong commercial appeal.


The menswear market is constantly moving, so it’s important to stay agile, creative and connected to what consumers are looking for from their wardrobe today. We’ve built the brand around versatility; creating collections that move seamlessly between occasion wear, tailoring and smart casual dressing while always maintaining a strong emphasis on fit, detail and wearability.


At the same time, we’ve stayed true to the core principles that define Remus Uomo: confident styling, accessible luxury and attention to detail. That balance between innovation and consistency has allowed the brand to continue growing both in the UK and in Ireland.
