What’s the story behind the brand? Derek Moore the CEO, who was born in London, has been involved in the footwear trade for nearly 40 years. In 2013 he was asked to be involved in the resourcing of some mens shoes and he decided he wanted to bring colour and fashion to the footwear market. Due to the success he registered London Brogues Trademark and formed a brand.
Is there a brand philosophy? To supply good quality leather shoes at affordable prices as we work directly with factories and employ our own staff involved with design, manufacture and quality. (to cut out the middle man)
What sets this brand apart from the rest? British Design influence, lovely quality leather with some styles having leather soles. All components are quality checked during production which means we have a very low returns rate. Some styles are up to UK15, we hold large stocks and customers can pick their own sizes (no pre-pack). All of our shoes are packed in branded shoe boxes, shoe bags, shoe horn and a polish. On most occasions’ delivery is within a few days of receipt of orders.
Does this brand offer a good profit margin for retailers? Yes. Lowest trade price £28 and highest retail £120.
Where is the brand assembled/manufactured? Most of our shoes are made in India whom we have close collaboration and we are currently developing a new range to be made in Italy.
