Cheryl Taylor, Editor,
asks Moji Kash of Scorpion Shoes, Camden Town, North London, why they buy Laura Vita.
Kindly tell us about your shop, its location and your customers? Our shoe shop is situated in the heart of London's Camden Town and for the past 20 years we have been serving visitors from all over the world.
What made you decide to buy Laura Vita? Distinctive design, innovative use and mix of material and ultimately creating a very interesting colourful footwear range.
How did you find out about the brand, where and when? We discovered the Laura Vita brand directly in China's Canton Fair, followed by Riva Del Garda Show in Garda, Italy.
Which features of the brand do you like best and why? Unique use of interesting material in different execution and mix of colours.
How does this brand compare with other brands in the same category you stock/have stocked? Very well and I am confident it will do even better going forward.
Which styles have worked best for you? The styles which are wearable and have the best use of colour mix. Winter boots with medium to low heels offering patch work and summery flats bursting with colours have worked best for us.
Is the brand one of your best-sellers? Where does it stand price-wise? The brand is performing well considering the age of the brand within our business and marketplace, its price and other similar brands in its category.
Which are the most popular styles? Styles like Billy, Brie, Vexe, Vesa are to name a few.
Have you recommended the brand to other retailers? I wouldn't hesitate to do so, as long as they are not my competitors
Please tell about the service you receive from the manufacturer? They are reasonable and understand our tough retail climate and do not hesitate to work with retailers.
