FROM THE EDITOR It’s Showtime again!

I

t’s August and Showtime again! I hope the sun will be shining where you are by the time you read this Comment, given the deluge of rain

we’ve had this year, at least in Kent! As usual, in August I’ll be attending Moda, to bring you the latest

footwear trends. I’m also looking forward to meeting up with members of the Footwear Today Best Sellers Panel and many old friends from the footwear industry.

As well as a preview of MODA, in this issue we are featuring a review

of Expo Riva Schuh, Riva Del Garda. For a sneak peek at what’s likely to be flying off your shelves next summer, do check out our Editor’s Choice pages 27-31. We have selected a stunning array of sandals and sling backs from Europe’s top manufacturers and those from further afield, for your lady customers in SS20

Don’t miss our popular Best Sellers and Retailer of the Month

sections. Independent footwear retailers who would like their shop(s) profiled in Footwear Today Magazine, might be interested joining our Best Sellers panel? If so, I would be delighted to hear from you and tell you how you can participate and claim your free profile, a double page spread dedicated solely to your business.

Those independent footwear retailers who are profiled in the Retailer

of the Month section automatically become members of the Footwear Today Best Sellers Panel. My contact details are shown below. I look forward to hearing from you.

Do come along and meet the Footwear Today team at Moda, NEC Birmingham, from August 4h to 6th. Look out for Stand No D4.

Kind regards, Cheryl Cheryl Taylor, Editor,
