NEWS CAPRICE sets personal course for the years ahead


Maximilan Mang (Head of Marketing, left), Christian Burmeister (Head of Sales International & E-Comerce, middle) and Karsten Bolle (Head of Sales D-A-CH, right) will take on new leading positions at CAPRICE starting May 1st.


The junior generation of the German-based shoe manufacturer and an experienced veteran, move up into the middle management.


As of May 1st, CAPRICE is undergoing a personnel restructuring and is installing new middle management positions in the key areas of sales, marketing, production control and development. All newly created positions are filled by employees who are already familiar with the cross-departmental processes and internal structures due to their previous role in the company. From now on, Christian Burmeister will


support the position of Head of International Sales & E-Commerce and Maximilian Mang has been appointed Head of Marketing. The two early 30-year-olds began their respective careers at CAPRICE. Burmeister successfully served as a key account manager in the D-A-CH region and Mang started working at CAPRICE after completing his master studies at the University of Trier and has been responsible for all areas of public perception of the company in his function as a brand manager.


In the course of this personnel reorganization Karsten Bolle (49) – an experienced industry expert – was appointed as Head of Sales for the D-A-CH region. With Christopher Riede (29) as Head of


Factory Management and Sebastian Altrieth (39) as Head of Technical Development two additional junior managers are being added to the middle management level. With this generational change initiated, CAPRICE relies on the combination of the innovative power of the younger generation and the knowledge of the experience. Siro Badon appointed Chair of Assocalzaturifici by the Association’s Board


The Board of Assocalzaturifici, the association that represents Italian footwearmanufacturers, has appointed Siro Badon to succeed Annarita Pilotti as the newChairman, for the four-year term 2019/2023. Siro Badon was elected with a large majority


by the entrepreneurs who make up the Board of Assocalzaturifici, meeting today in Naples on the occasion of the World Footwear Congress. The appointment will have to be confirmed by the Annual General Meeting of the association, which will take place on 26 June in Milan, during the General Assizes of Confindustria Moda (Italian Federation of Textiles, Fashion and Accessories). With a lifelong career in the footwear business


and entrepreneur associations, Siro Badon is also Chairman of ACRIB, Associazione


Calzaturieri Riviera del Brenta (the Brenta Riviera footwear manufacturers’ association) and owner of the De Robert shoe firm, one of the oldest in the area.
