Kindly tell us about your shop, its location and your customers? Stepping Stones Shoes is an independent shop in Ashbourne, on the edge of the Peak District, selling all styles of children’s and ladies’ footwear. We always aim to offer choice, whatever the need, and love to have lots of colour and stylish but practical options in the range.
What made you decide to buy this brand? Hush Puppies®
are well known for comfort too.
Which features of the brand do you like best and why? The fit left, fit right system of footbeds in the children’s range is a great way to ensure the best fit possible. The range of school shoes is always good and often a preferred brand for customers who want durability coupled with a competitive price. The ladies’ range is very comprehensive and has a long-standing reputation for style as well as comfort.

Which styles have worked best for you? In the ladies’ range, the classic slip-on Janessa has been a long standing favourite plus the Victorian-style ankle boot Vivianna, in all its colours. This winter, the taller boots, Saluki and Pomeranian were very popular – the detailing of some fur or a lace always works well.

is one of our best-selling brands and we ensure that
we offer a good selection of styles from the range for both children and ladies. The prices are competitive compared to many of the continental brands that we carry.
