ADVERTORIAL TECHNOLOGY IN ACTION
100nm X-Ray Resolution and 4K Display
mall defects in your soldering or bonds can be difficult to see. They aren’t with our latest 100nm X-Ray solution. With 4K imaging, 100nm image resolution and a power of up to 20W you can be sure that you can see the tiniest of defects. Essential in failure analysis or critical component assemblies, the Quadra series of X-Ray systems also provides the highest resolution for CT and tomosynthesys, with instant filters and analysis software. Having the best picture is vital for manual defect analysis but the software available on the system can automate those tasks for repeat inspection or small production runs. Nordson Dage provides advanced software for viewing layers through a component or board and actual and reconstructed computer tomography for a full 3D view. Functions are available for automatic checking of voids or solder fill and pictorial or measured result outputs are available.

nvestment in new test technology has enabled a leading manufacturer of industrial and commercial lighting products to significantly reduce production line test times, increasing productivity and manufacturing efficiencies. Hadar Lighting designs and manufactures a wide range of lighting fixtures, including systems for hazardous areas in industrial and commercial environments. As well as traditional lighting products, the company is increasingly providing high performance LED luminaires and has recently upgraded its production line test technology with the purchase of specialist Clare HAL LED testers from Seaward. The HAL LED incorporates a range of flexible electrical test capabilities to meet the demands of different production line testing needs. At Hadar the new advanced test stations perform earth bond testing alongside an AC/DC flash test, insulation test and function test to ensure that all products meet the test specification needs of all relevant luminaire product standards.

Speedboard Assembly Services New SunPlus LEDs for Horticulture
Mouser Electronics, Inc. is now stocking LUXEON SunPlus Series LEDs from Lumileds. These new LEDs, designed specifically for horticulture, are binned and tested based on photosynthetic photon flux (PPF) to ensure ease of system design for grow lights. The LEDs enable specific wavelength tuning for greenhouses, vertical farms, and other horticulture applications. Agriculture groups ranging from local growers to governmental agencies have started adopting energy-efficient lighting, water-saving cultivation methods, and other green technologies. These shifts in processes have enabled highly localized growth of fruits and
vegetables within urban areas. For example, in Tokyo, many mid- and high-rise buildings dedicate entire floors to growing small crops for use in restaurants and cafeterias within the same building. Lumileds’ LUXEON SunPlus Series LEDs, available from Mouser Electronics, support indoor and greenhouse farming by delivering precise light wavelengths and optimized spectra that complement or replace natural sunlight for improved crop yields.

In2Connect supply rectangular and circular connectors
R ugged, compact, sealed M12 connectors are popular for
sensor/actuator connectivity in factory automation, process control, and industrial instrumentation. The screw locking M12 style connector has from 2 to 8 contacts and is IP67 rated so can be well suited for moisture-laden environments. Field attachable connectors have the freedom and flexibility to react to the cabling situation on site or to enable building your own M12 cables. M12 connectors may also be coded by application. As well as M12, In2Connect’s range of connectors include M8, 7/8”, Rund24, M23, tooling and junction systems, adapters and splitters.
