NEW SECURITY FASTENERS


A new range of security fasteners has been launched by TR Fastenings. The innovative 5-Lobe pin is a complete range of security fasteners made from corrosion- resistant A4-70 stainless steel - ideal for outdoor use. The fastener’s five-sectioned screw head means that it can only be undone using specialist tools, preventing unauthorised tampering. Fastenings made with corrosion-


resistant A4-70 stainless steel do not degrade if they come into contact with salt water and other chemicals that have an impact on other forms of steel. The durability of the high grade material means that components need to be replaced less often. Paul Standing, product manager

RUGGED ENCLOSURE IDEAL FOR NRMM AND HDV HARSH ENVIRONMENTS A

for its OBS-ONE portable emissions measurement system (PEMS), enabling it to be used for the in-service monitoring of real world emissions (RWE) of combustion engine-powered non- road mobile machinery (NRMM) in real-life operational and often harsh environments. Called the OBS-ONE-RE, the


enclosure enables the OBS-ONE – as used by leading OEMs of light- and heavy-duty vehicles for establishing real-driving


emissions (RDE) and in-service conformity – to be used for monitoring the exhaust gases of machinery such as diggers, quarry vehicles, snowmobiles, inland water vessels and portable power generating sets. This feature set makes the

MORE USB VERSIONS OF OKW’S MINITEC POCKET SIZE ENCLOSURES FOR PERSONAL ELECTRONICS


OKW has increased the range of USB connectivity options for its Minitec plastic enclosures for personal electronics. This is a modern range of ergonomic enclosures for remote


control key fobs, IoT/IIoT, compact measurement devices, data recording, personal emergency/alarm systems, medical or fitness monitoring devices. Tactile and ergonomic with a light build that is comfortable


to wear, ensures that personal electronics stay within easy reach. It can be worn on a lanyard, wrist strap, carried loose or attached to a belt or key ring. The enclosures are available in two shapes: rectangular E or the more rounded D. Each enclosure comprises a top and bottom section, an intermediate ring and an assembly screw (supplied). USB-A and


USB-B intermediate rings are now available as standard in ABS or infrared-permeable PMMA. No machining is needed. Previously, USB intermediate rings were offered only in soft-touch SEBS/TPE. The new rings fit size M (68 x 24 x 18/24mm) of the E (rectangular) version of MINITEC. They also feature a mounting loop. Four of the new rings are 18mm high (USB-A/ABS, USB-A/PMMA, USB-B/ABS and USB-B/PMMA). Two
