Smiths Interconnect unveils Distributors of the Year


Smiths Interconnect is excited to announce its top-performing distributors for the year 2023.

heir distribution awards program recognises and celebrates their valued business partners who have significantly contributed to the growth of Smiths Interconnect across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia. The winners in each region were selected based on their exceptional sales growth compared to the previous fiscal year. In the Americas, TTI, IP&E has been named Distributor of the Year for their outstanding revenue growth and exceptional inventory management programs that have consistently delighted their customers. The expertise of TTI’s Corporate Product Marketing team in promoting the Smiths Interconnect product portfolio has been instrumental in their success.


In EMEA, TTI IP&E - Europe has received the regional award for achieving remarkable growth. With a strong sales network, this European company has delivered excellent results in the German industrial market and in the defense, aerospace, and space sectors outside Germany.


In Asia the award for the best distributor goes to ACLink Technologies Limited, one of the few distributors of the group representing the brands of all their business units. Over the years they have proven to be one of the most results- focused distributors in the region.


In collaboration with their sister company Shanghai Huili Technologies Limited, ACLink has been instrumental in driving


DaVinci 56G, DaVinci 112G, and the DaVinci Micro test sockets. Their assistance in the stocking of pogo pins proved invaluable, helping Smiths Interconnect to streamline operations, reduce lead times, and exceed customer and market expectations. They also secured a significant victory by winning the company’s first Burn-In socket contract with a leading electronics system design company, marking a key achievement in the Chinese Burn-In socket market following the acquisition of the Plastronics business.


For Connectors and Fiber Optic and RF Components business, ACLink helped reduce delivery times by stocking some Part Numbers for customers and gave a strong support to customer development in China. This turned into a quicker turnaround and to gain more business for the entire group.

Staying in Asia, their Korean authorised distributor, Bizmile Co. Ltd, demonstrated exceptional performance with significant booking and revenue growth, earning them the Highly Commended Distributor for Business Growth 2023 award.
