couple of additional tools included in the 360° Wrap-Around View System that are most helpful to complete the design process. One of them is the Screen Builder Tool, where the designer can create and edit a projection surface to use later with the View Maker for the 360° view object types. The other one is the Lens Effector Tool, used mainly for perspective and projection editing of each individual camera. The output of this tool adds to the input data of the Layout Creator to improve the final results.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TOOLS This 360˚ image technology has been developed combining the use of the MB86R24 graphics controller with a full set of software development tools. This authoring tool suite supports the generation of three-dimensional full- perimeter images and middleware to address the control and the display of them. The initial evaluation process of the 360° Wrap-Around View System is performed by Socionext and includes the optimizing of camera positions, fine tuning the image synthesis, and
generating views. Significant time is saved by this tool during the evaluation process.
ONE SINGLE PACKAGE Hardware and software are all provided in one single package, thereby giving designers all they need to implement this technology quickly and easily. However, should the hardware and software not be required, it is possible to use these tools for an introductory evaluation of the
