Cadence Munich New Universal Feet Kits For Enclosures


METCASE’s new universal feet range TECHNOFEET can be fitted to any type of plastic or metal enclosure with a wall thickness of up to 3 mm with the standard screws supplied. On demand, longer screws can be supplied for larger wall thicknesses.


The feet are easy to install, each requiring just three holes in the enclosure


panel. Drilling details are supplied with each kit. Two standard kits are available, each with four feet. Kit 1 includes four foot


bodies, push-in anti-skid pads and self-tapping screws. Kit 2 also includes two tilt legs with 120º rotation. Each foot is sized ø30 x 12 mm high. The foot bodies are moulded in ABS (UL 94 HB) while the anti-skid pads are soft touch TPE for maximum grip. Three standard colours are offered: anthracite (RAL 7016), light grey (RAL 7035) and black (RAL 9005). TECHNOFEET are available


in a range of six kits: M6420104, feet kit in anthracite; M6420204, feet kit with tilt legs in anthracite; M6420105, feet kit in light grey; M6420205, feet kit with tilt legs in light grey; M6420109, feet kit in black and M6420209 feet kit with tilt legs in black.

For Wired Electronics OKW has launched its pioneering new range of CONNECT enclosures for wired or USB electronics. CONNECT is aimed at electronics applications where the unit is connected to a cable, sits between cables or where the units are joined with USB connectors. CONNECT is a two-piece enclosure with convex and flattened case shell sections. The flattened section is designed for fitting a membrane keypad or product label. Ergonomic rounded corners make it comfortable to hold. Three sizes are available from launch: 54 mm x 22 mm in lengths of either 76, 116 or 156 mm. The enclosures have open apertures at each end. They can be fitted with accessory end panels (which can be machined for USB connectors, LEDs) or integrated cable glands. The cable gland kits include a strain relief feature. Four fixing pillars inside the flattened case shell accommodate dia. 2.2 x 5 mm PCB screws.Although CONNECT is designed for indoor use (IP 40), it is moulded from ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0) for superior UV resistance.

waterproof connectors, to complement their current products. This range of Circular, USB, RJ45, D-Sub, HDMI, and recently added screw-lock RJ45 and Mini USB connectors are available with IP67 or IP68 protection, in various sizes and locking styles. The Circular range is available with 2-14 contacts (including mixed power and signal contact), and in 4 different body sizes. Cable mount versions can be supplied as field terminating or custom overmould cable assemblies. There are also M8 and M12 versions available. This new range offers an economical interconnect


solution, for a variety of applications, which require a good level of waterproofing, or for use in hazardous environments. Alternatively, due to their low cost, this range could easily be considered for use in dry environments, economical, locking connection.
