DB Panel Fittings claim they can fulfil virtually any cus- tomer requirement. In view of present supply chain issues in the general market they explain that they have good ex-stock availability for urgent delivery from their Online store covering most popular types. In addition to delivery from stock FDB are able to preferentially source from major international brands such as DIRAK and PINET. This en- ables them to cover all sorts of enclosure hinges in zinc die, steel, polyamide and stainless steel, for internal/concealed or external use. Many weld-on, bolt on and screw on hinges cover a standard portfolio, with DIRAK SNAP technology hinges fulfilling the important requirement for
toolless fitting.

inkle International’s DKU series of screw type barrier terminal blocks use a spring-guided system where the screws are inte- grated and captive within the termi- nal enclosure. These screws can be backed out so that ring- or U-shaped cable lugs can be inserted, without the possibility of losing the screw. The housing also ensures proper align- ment of the screw and lug. Connec- tion screws are integrated with washers to deliver secure connectivity
and vibration resistance.

Condensation-free H
umidity build-up inside the enclosure can be a result of external heat sources. It’s vital that humidity has a means of es- cape however, highly sealed enclo- sures which protect from external ingress can exacerbate condensa- tion build-up. Selsberg’s AK Air en- closure include an integrated ventilation system which expels vir- tually all condensation from within, protecting the electrical distribution board. The system comprises a lower valve which channels cool air into the enclosure and a higher valve which expels hotter air. The air exchange system also compen- sates air pressure within the enclo- sure, where high pressure would otherwise accelerate the air tem- perature increase.
