ITE models range from 5W to 200W and medically approved models are available from 5W to 120W and meet UL and CE EN6060. All models meet the DOE Level VI requirements and Energy Star for low standby power and many of the models have output voltages up to 56V.

obust ARCA IEC cabinets from Fibox provide comprehensive protection for installed components and allow for very easy and inexpensive machining. Up to IK10 impact resistance is ensured by the enclosure design with reinforced corners and doors and by the special glass-fiber-reinforced polycarbonate material. By reducing the fiber ratio to 10%, Fibox has eliminated the disadvantages occurring with other such materials. The polycarbonate enclosures can be easily customized with conventional tools, with negligible wear. Chips and debris material do not need to be suctioned off while working. In other enclosure materials, threaded holes can lose their function under strain. By contrast, ARCA IEC enclosures enable long-time durable threads up to M25 and M32, providing permanently strong hold for cable gland fittings. They do not suffer from blooming either – the well-known effect of decreasing surface quality in FRP polyester cabinets after a few years in the open air, which is also associated with the release of glass dust. On the contrary, the polycarbonate enclosures have a long-lasting smooth surface with excellent UV resistance.

Record-size industrial gear unit in a one-piece housing

rating, a swing base, a hydraulic coupling, and an electro-hydraulic brake. It is one of 26 systems NORD designed according to an extremely stringent set of specifications and taking into account the harsh environmental and operating conditions. These units drive a conveyor that is over two kilometers long and carries phosphate ore with loads exceeding several hundred tons. The high-performance gear unit meets the client’s demanding requirements, in particular maximum uptime and high tolerance to peak loads and impacts. The UNICASE gear design prevents leaks and delivers excellent radial and axial load capacities with a small footprint.

digital ultra-low power, fully calibrated, high accuracy sensor with pulse width modulated output signal. The duty cycle is proportional to the measured temperature. Accuracy is less than 0.1 ºC in the range of -10ºC to 100ºC and accuracy of 0.4ºC from -45ºC to 130ºC (max temp) with very low noise of 0.0001ºC. Supply voltage from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. This is the most energy efficient temperature sensor in the world with an average current of < 60uA or 220nA (1 measurement / second).
Evaluation boards SMTAS04USB (max. 4 sensors) and SMTAS08USB (max. 8 sensors) with mini USB port can power and read the temperature sensors. When using the SMT172TOI2C adapter the sensor can be used with an I²C bus. Applications are medical devices, vending machines, environmental controls, food processing and PCB component protection.

Sporty fuseholder adds value for quick assembly and in rough applications

ith the new FUS fuseholder, SCHURTER is building on its successful FUL series for high-performance applications and presents the first dust and water-proof fuseholder with ingress degree of protection IP67 especially for rough applications. The snap-in fuseholder series guarantees fast and tool-free assembly. The carrier is available in both versions with slot and fingergrip and can accommodate fuse sizes 5 x 20 / 6.3 x 32. Thanks to the high IP67 degree of dust and water protection, the FUS series fuseholders can be used wherever high- performance applications are exposed to potentially adverse environmental influences, such as outdoor applications or in the oil and chemical industry, marine, laboratories and mining.
