ADVERTORIALS 4.3” 800(RGB)x480 Smart TFT Display
Craft Data are pleased to introduce the DMG80480T043_09WTC smart TFT display, a 4.3” 800(RGB)x480 resolution module with an integrated capacitive touch (glass + glass structure) from their partner DWIN Technology. The IPS display has a high brightness of 800 nits and ultrawide view- ing angles of 85°/85°/85°/85°, allowing the display to be used in indoor and outdoor
applications in both portrait and landscape orientations without the loss of image quality. The module features DWIN’s own powerful T5L0 ASIC dual-core 8051 processor incorporating DWIN’s own DGUS II development architecture allowing users to create a dynamic user interface featuring JPEGs, fonts and music files all stored in the modules 16MB of NOR Flash (expandable to 64MB). Two serial, RS232 or TTL interfaces provide flexible communication to your peripheral devices. The module measures 121.92(H) x 73.15(V) x 14.2(D)mm and has an active area of 93.6(H) x 56.16(V)mm, plus it’s single input voltage of between 6V~36V makes the module ideal for a host of HMI applications.

ROLEC’s polyDOOR Hinged-Lid GRP Enclosures Now In Eight Sizes
ROLEC’s polyDOOR hinged-lid enclosures for industrial electronics are now available in eight sizes – either with or without a transparent window for displays. Weather-resistant polyDOOR (IP 66) is ideal for challenging industrial applications where equipment must be inspected or serviced regularly – such as processing, machine control or marine electronics. The GRP (UL 94 V-0) material is resistant to chemical attack.
The lid is locked with polyamide fixings – either standard slotted screw heads, triangular or square heads (to prevent tampering), or hand screws for rapid access. Inside there are threaded pillars for mounting PCBs, terminal rails and component assemblies. Robust polyDOOR is now available in eight sizes from 140 x 120 x 100 mm to 320 x 200 x 120 mm. The standard colour is similar to RAL 7032. ROLEC can supply polyDOOR fully customised to customer requirements.

Smiths Interconnect introduces new Custom Grid Array technology for medical applications Cost-effective and smaller alternative to coaxial RF contacts
Smiths Interconnect, a leading provider of technically differentiated electronic components, subsystems, microwave, optical and radio frequency products announced the introduction of a new contact technology for the medical market segment, the Custom Grid Array. The new Custom Grid Array technology offers a contact layout using spring probe
and target contacts to deliver the same RF performance as cabled coaxial solutions, with improved signal integrity. Interconnect solutions for medical applications must provide high performance and ensure the highest level of safety. At the same time, there is a pressing market need to make them even smaller, more robust, and more cost-effective. “The Custom Grid Array technology adds an important design option to our offering for the medical customers”, said Mark Kelleher, Vice President and General Manager of the Connector Business Unit at Smiths Interconnect.

networkable instrumentation to exercise a device under test DUT and verify that its hardware and software are functioning together as intended. During product development, BELIeVE can be used to inject faults and mimic events/ conditions that would otherwise be hard to replicate. In addition, reports are automatically generated, which is of great benefit to engineers that must demonstrate their designs were thoroughly verified; for safety-critical applications, for example, but also good engineering practice. BELIeVE can also
