CELEBRATING CIRCUITRY The third annual

Electronics Industry Awards

As a key date in the electronics calendar, The Electronics Industry Awards looks to provide a platform for industry professionals to come together with colleagues, industry peers and friends to celebrate the many diverse achievements of the sector

F

ollowing the successful blueprint laid out by the first two iterations of the scheme, the event returns for 2020 to continue its mission of recognising the sector’s products, companies and individuals. These all come under an array of categories, tailored to highlight the key areas being served by the industry’s experts, all resolved through a unique decision-making process – one which places the power to decide who wins in a number of categories in the industry’s hands; the occasion looks to stand out, recognising an industry that is always changing and pushing the boundaries of technology.

WHAT’S TO BE WON? The 2020 event will host a diverse range of categories designed to recognise every corner of the electronics trade. Accolades to be won include ‘Automotive Product of the Year’, ‘Distributor of the Year’ and ‘Most Outstanding PR Agency’.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED? With entries now open, members of the electronics industry will be invited to put their products, companies and peers into the running to clinch an accolade using the simple online entry form available via the Electronics Industry Awards website, a link to which can be found in the contact details at the end of this preview. Subject to meeting

the necessary criteria, each entry and nomination will then proceed to the decision-making stage. Professionals from within the industry will have the chance to have a say in the product and individual categories;

the votes will be cast online and will be tallied alongside the judge’s scores to determine a shortlist, and ultimately one winner in each category. However, winners for each of the business categories will be decided solely by the online votes submitted by individuals operating within the trade. The winners of

the 2020 event will be revealed at the awards ceremony taking place on Thursday 24 September in London, as the event returns to the illustrious

setting of Tower Hotel for the second successive year. If one wishes to be among the key decision-makers and leading figures set to be in attendance, make use of the introductory early-bird

ticket rates that are available until Friday 22 May 2020 on the website.
