s the official distributor for Italtronic’s enclosures, Hitaltech is offering the DomoPi 7 embedded display enclosure. The housing has been specifically engineered

to accommodate the Raspberry Pi 7” touch display alongside compatible control boards such as the Raspberry Pi 4 and Pi 5, and is constructed from high quality PC/ABS material with a UL-94 V0 flame-retardant rating. Providing a robust solution for modern HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and embedded control applications, DomoPi 7 is suited to: • Smart home control panels • Building automation interfaces • Energy monitoring displays • Industrial HMI terminals • Access control systems • IoT dashboards and data visualisation units.

 Embedded displays are showing up everywhere, from smart home systems and energy monitors to access control panels and IoT dashboards. As that technology spreads, however, there’s a growing need for enclosures that are ready to install straight out of the box, without compromising on looks or build quality. That’s exactly the gap the DomoPi 7 fills, the company explains. The DomoPi 7 enclosure offers flexible mounting capability. The housing supports wall mounting for smart home and building management applications, as well as panel mounting for industrial control systems. It can also support desktop configurations for kiosk, point-of-sale, or information display units. Of additional benefit, the enclosure is also

compatible with standard display panels by simply modifying the cover lens using the guide provided by Italtronic. Engineers can therefore deploy a single enclosure solution across multiple project types, reducing design complexity as well as reducing time to market. The enclosure has been developed with the aim of streamlining assembly and integration, with dedicated internal supports and fixing points ensuring secure placement of both the touchscreen display and the associated control board. This still maintains the best spacing for ventilation and cable management. Furthermore, by eliminating the need for costly custom fabrication, the DomoPi 7

 Hitaltech’s partnership with Italtronic ensures customers have access to a comprehensive range of high-quality enclosure solutions. Italtronic’s enclosure range includes solutions for DIN rail housings, wall mount enclosures, and panel mount systems. The addition of the DomoPi 7 further enhances Hitaltech’s offering within the embedded display and HMI segment. Andrew Fitzer, managing director of Hitaltech

UK, commented: “The introduction of the DomoPi 7 reinforces our commitment to providing

innovative and reliable enclosure solutions to our customers. As the official distributor for Italtronic’s enclosures, we are excited to deliver a product that meets the increasing demand of the industry for professional Raspberry Pi-based display systems. At Hitaltech we are always striving to remain at the forefront of innovation in this sector.” Customers can request pricing, technical

datasheets and ordering information directly from the Hitaltech sales team.
