New from Ruland: Indexing Plungers R

uland now supplies indexing plungers. The spring-loaded mechanisms, designed to easily

lock pieces of machinery for adjustable positioning, are commonly used in industrial equipment for positioning and holding, in medical equipment for height adjustments, and in machine guard doors.

Molex Launches Miniaturized 2.2-5 RF Connector System

and Cable Assemblies Superior RF signal transmission

in space-constrained wireless and 5G networks M

olex has introduced compact 2.2-5 RF Connector System and Cable Assemblies designed to deliver high

frequency and low passive intermodulation (PIM). In conjunction with the 2.2-5 consortium, Molex developed the 2.25 form factor by adapting and miniaturizing the proven 4.3-10 form factor. Molex 2.2-5 RF Connectors are 53 percent smaller than 4.3-10 connectors and capable of frequencies up to 6 GHz. 2.2-5 RF Cable Jumpers are factory fabricated and

provide a IP68 NEMA rating when mated, protecting the connector system from dust and water ingress. Molex offers custom assemblies integrating 2.2-5

Connectors in a range of mating options for design flexibility, ease of installation, and optimal electrical performance. The IP68 2.2-5 System features an air dielectric interface enabling superior bandwidth and low insertion loss in 5G networks and any application where space and signal capacities are critical.

Ruland indexing plungers feature a pull knob that partially encloses the top of the plunger body, allowing less debris to enter the mechanism for consistent performance and longer life. Indexing plungers are offered with or without lock-out. Options with lock-out are available for applications where the plunger pin needs to stay retracted in a fixed position.

Ruland indexing plungers are available in standard and mini types in inch and metric thread sizes. Mini indexing

plungers have a shorter threaded body, making them ideal in thin walled sheet metal applications. The longer threaded body of the standard indexing plungers makes them ideal for thick walled metal applications.
