The Herald boiler range includes eight models, featuring outputs from 41 to 221kW. They feature a 316L stainless steel heat exchanger that offers a high level of resistance to corrosion and is supported by a 10year warranty. Herald boilers are compact and narrow enough to fit through a standard doorway. The largest model, at 228kW output, has a footprint of less than 0.5m2. At a maximum height of 1080mm, they are suitable for confined plant rooms with headroom restrictions. uThe heat pump is designed to replace or augment traditional gas boilers, or for use offgrid where buildings are currently reliant on expensive oilfired or electric heating. Highly energy efficient, the system has a Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) of up to 5.05 (at 55 Celsius). This means that over a typical operating season, it can deliver more than five times the electrical power it consumes in the form of heating energy as a result of harnessing and upgrading low level waste heat.

entAxia has welcomed the draft guidance ‘Indoor Air Quality at Home’ published


by National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE). The document urges both local authorities and the public to be aware of the air quality in their homes to reduce exposure to indoor pollutants and so help protect their health. Within the guidance it advises people to ensure rooms are well ventilated by extractor fans or by opening windows when cooking, drying clothes inside, using household sprays or solvents and paints. A staggering 65% of UK homes

Exposure to indoor air pollution from cookers, damp, cleaning products and fires can all irritate the lungs and exacerbate asthma symptoms, as well as causing longterm adverse health effects.
