NEW FNT 16 NEUTRAL DISCONNECT TERMINAL FOR 2.5 – 25 MM²

installation terminals, adding the FNT 16 neutral disconnect terminal for wire cross sections between 2.5 mm2 to 16 mm2

C and 25 mm2 (up with wire-end ferrules).

The push-in connection system allows for safe connection of wires without tools. When a solid wire or ferrule is inserted, the pressure spring opens automatically and establishes a secure contact. Standard screwdrivers can be used to connect and disconnect flexible wires without ferrules. The disconnect terminal integrates a receptacle for the 10x3-mm neutral busbar. There is no need for an additional fixing plate. The neutral busbar is securely connected via a screw- less slider. Like FRKI feed-through terminals and FSLI PE terminals, the neutral disconnect terminals can be used alongside FDLIS three-level installation terminals, because the position of the neutral busbar is identical in both versions.

MULTI-CHANNEL TRANSCEIVER FROM RADIOMETRIX OFFERS HIGH VIBRATION RESISTANCE

D

esigned to operate in environments with high levels

of noise and vibration, the VX2M is a new NBFM 400MHz band transceiver from Radiometrix. Its sophisticated combination of circuit design techniques ensures the device is highly robust, with excellent resistance to vibration. The VX2M meets the ETSI

Category 1 high performance receiver specification, meaning that it can be used where the operation of a short range device may have inherent safety of human life implications. Suitable applications include remote controls for industrial machinery or heavy

vehicles, open cast mining, data loggers and industrial telemetry, as well as specialist fields such as close quarter weapons engagement training. The VX2M retains all the pin functions of its TR2M parent, including noise operated

squelch / carrier detect and separate digital / analogue inputs and outputs. It also supports the same internal i1200 modem.

EUROPEAN COATINGS SHOW: MONITOR FOR PERFECT CURE

F

luke Process Instruments presents temperature profiling technology at the 2019 European

Coatings Show. The manufacturer provides dedicated hardware and software kits for monitoring thermal cure of powder-coatings, paints, adhesives, and sealants. These systems help customers ensure consistent high quality, improve efficiency, and prove compliance. The prime showcase, the recently launched Datapaq DP5 data logger provides an outstanding ±0.5 °C accuracy and ±0.1 °C resolution over the full measuring and operating temperature ranges. These loggers are available in various 6-channel and 12-channel formats with matching thermal barriers to suit any thermal process. Measurements can be started and stopped manually, via two color-coded buttons, or triggered by time or temperature. The loggers combine ease of use with excellent availability and minimal running costs: they feature a user-replaceable NimH battery pack, which can be recharged from any USB outlet or port. One 90-minute charge allows for more than 40 hours of profiling.
