High Accuracy digital temperature sensor

MS Electronics improves temperature measurement accuracy without difficulty. The Smartec SMT172 is a
complete digital ultra-low power, factory calibrated, high accuracy sensor with pulse width modulated output signal. PWM output sensors offer have high noise immunity and high reference accuracy. They are easy to interface and can easy be multiplexed. The duty cycle is proportional to the measured temperature. Accuracy is 0.1 ºC in the range of -10ºC to 100ºC. Max temperature is 130ºC. When adding a RC network the sensor can also be used as an analogue sensor. Supply voltage range from 2.7 V to 5.5 V. This is the most energy efficient temperature sensor in the world with an average current of < 60uA or 220nA. Small sensor packages and a slim 5mm and a 7mm stainless steel probes with 5mm cable are available. Evaluation boards with USB and I²C Interface. Application are found in wearables, scientific, environmental, medical or industrial measurements.

This makes the new joystick controller ideal for use in control panels and armrest assemblies found in material handling vehicles, industrial trucks, agricultural equipment and construction machinery, where cost-effective, long-life operator controls are essential. Developed by Curtiss-Wright’s brand family of Penny &
Giles, the JC1210 paddle joystick features an additional 10 degrees of travel at both ends of the axis, which can be
specified by machine designers and end users for either latching or overpress functions – or a combination of both – to meet system requirements to hold functions at full speed/float.

exhibition in Antwerp this March. Known as the MTN/5032, it can monitor velocity, envelope g and temperature on all channels. The microcontroller-based system has an easy- to-navigate touch screen that enables users to set thresholds and delays for up to 96 alarms individually or across all channels, as well as data sampling periods, ranges and accuracy levels. AC output data for each channel is accessible via door-mounted BNC connectors for easy analysis, while Modbus and remote PC monitoring are available as options. Also on the Monitran stand will be the MTN/VM220. This compact, handheld vibration meter can store up to 100 time-stamped readings, including RMS, peak, peak-to-peak, crest factor and bearing conditions. Conforming to ISO 10816-3, the unit is rechargeable and operates with a constant current accelerometer. Monitran will also be displaying its wide range of general and special purpose accelerometers, velocity sensors, eddy current probes and LVDTs.
