MAGFLOW METERS UPDATED N
ew versions of ifm electronic’s successful magflow meters.
Heralded as one of the best products of the last few years for both accuracy and value, the SM range of magflow meters from ifm electronic is now available with IO-Link, giving the user remote access to parameters for recipe changes as well as all the process data over a single connection. Peak consumption, present
consumption or accumulated consumption can be accessed and adjusted via programmed switch and alarm level settings - all at the touch of a button. All SM versions measure temperature as well as flow rates up to 600 l/m, and can indicate if the pipe is empty. Wetted parts are manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, hastelloy and PEEK,
with O-rings in either EPDM or FKM. Uses of the SM range from coolants to energy management and food industry and many more besides.

PORTABLE PROCESS CALIBRATOR APPROVED FOR HAZARDOUS AREAS
W
IKA's CPH7000 portable process calibrator has
received ATEX approval. It is therefore also suitable for use in hazardous areas.
The CPH7000 provides highly
flexible on-site calibration for process transmitters and pressure gauges. A high-pressure version even tests measuring ranges up to 10,000 bar.
The portable, multi-function instrument integrates an electronics module, a hand
pump for generating test pressures of up to 25 bar and a high-performance data logger. Due to its equipment, the CPH7000 also fulfils test tasks for the measurement parameters of temperature, voltage and current.

for Rion instruments since 2001 and most major manufacturers’ instrumentation since 2009. Operations Manager, Kiran Mistry says having our laboratory based in Milton Keynes at ANV’s HQ means customers do not have to send equipment outside the UK for calibration. As a result, we are able to offer a 5 day turnaround and inconjunction with this, the customer is kept informed throughout the calibration process negating down- time, potential loss of revenue whilst at the same time providing assurance and peace of mind.
A WINNING FORMULA! A

HBM DATA ACQUISITION AMPLIFIER MODULE OPERATES UNDER HARSH CONDITIONS
T
est and measurement expert HBM has expanded
its range of data acquisition modules with the SomatXRMX1609TB-R. This amplifier is part of the industry standard’s SomatXR family, and provides engineers with a reliable and flexible solution tomeasuring temperature, particularly in harsh operating conditions. With 16 channels and a sample rate of up to 100 kS/s per channel, the MX1609TB-R is
shock resistant with an IP54/IP67 degree of protection, which makes it ideal for use in measurement tasks within a wide range of applications, such as mobile measurement and tests with off-highway vehicles, stationary measurements, tests on infrastructures and field tests in harsh environments. The MX1609TB-R, which features a compact design, supports type T thermocouples
and offers especially good linearity in the range from -50°C to +200°C. HBM

CHELL UPGRADES THEIR IMPRESSIVE NANODAQ RANGE W
orld-renowned gas measurement and control experts Chell Instruments have updated their already impressive nanoDAQ-LTR range with the nanoDAQ-LTR-64
channel. The new nanoDAQ-LTR-64 has 64 channels and is a low-cost option within Chell’s miniature smart pressure scanner range. By utilising the latest technology in digital transducers, Chell have created a slim-line version of the nanoDAQ featuring a configurable manifold mount. “Our new improved pressure scanner is not only affordable but its size and
construction also means it’s ideal for many new applications” states Nick Broadley, Managing Director at Chell. “It’s also fully configurable and will output pressure data in engineering units over Ethernet and CAN.” With the new improved upgrade users can select a number of operating parameters using the embedded web server. Its miniature dimensions also mean it can be used in harsh environments and on-vehicle applications, where space is limited. “At Chell we are always innovating and expanding our range” continues Nick. “The
new nanoDaq-LTR-64 uses 66 absolute transducers, all thermally compensated from -40 to 90C. We’re proud to be continually creating solutions for our customers and the nanoDAQ-LTR-64 is the latest example of how we’ve responded to customer requirements.” North Walsham-based Chell Instruments have been providing pressure, vacuum and
gas flow measurement equipment for over 40 years. They design, manufacture and calibrate testing apparatus used in areas including Formula One, aircraft design and pharmaceuticals.
