weight. As a result of this, LIMAB UK’s products are used in a plethora of industries, including: steel, glass, building materials, food processing and medical research. At Sensors & Instrumentation Live, LIMAB UK

will focus on its range of IR pyrometers, thermal imaging cameras and NIR sensors for in-process moisture measurement to help customers better control their processes, reduce waste and improve product quality. As the UK distributor for LumaSense

products, the exhibition is the perfect opportunity for LIMAB UK to showcase these products, as well as to discuss new potential applications with customers. The range, which includes the IMPAC fast responding one and two colour pyrometers, MIKRON thermal imagers and LUXTRON fibre optic temperature sensors, enables customers to measure temperature in the range of -100°C to +3,500°C in a wide spectrum of applications. Moreover, LIMAB UK will also be

showcasing the on-line NIR (near infrared) gauge from NDC Technologies – a product designed for the measurement of moisture in continuous processes. These gauges are available in different configurations to measure oil/fat content and for measuring coat weight thickness in web material applications. Whilst its main focus will be on the LumaSense

pyrometers and NDC IR moisture gauges at the exhibition, LIMAB UK are also well known for laser measuring sensors and complete measurement systems for industrial applications. With this in mind, the company encourages visitors to drop in to discuss any measurement applications as well. Another exhibitor at Sensors &

Instrumentation Live has reasons to celebrate this year. Like the exhibition, Rheintacho UK has a special anniversary in 2019. The company celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. It has been manufacturing instruments, indicators, govenors, tachometers, stroboscopes and sensors used for measurement and control for decades.

A contributing factor to the strong growth of Rheintacho UK is the support of its parent company in Germany, Rheintacho Messtechnik. The new management team, composed of Paul Hargraves and William Buhler, is successfully moving the company forward through innovation, customer service and the application of sound business principles. At the show, Rheintacho UK is going to

show its newest products. One of them is the new M8 rotational speed sensor which is not only one of the smallest available worldwide, but also includes temperature measurement. This of course make life easier for any engineer who requires both features. In addition, the company is going to show the

newest member of its stroboscope family, the LED PocketStrobe laser. This portable strobe has a patented integrated laser which enables auto synchronisation and is among the brightest available for smaller handheld devices. Rheintacho is going to be demonstrating this strobe at the fair in Innovation in Action. On top of that, the company’s eddy

current tachometers are now ATEX certified offering the market safe measurement in hazardous areas. This product family includes many sizes in 14 different tachometer types and includes different types of gearboxes. Commenting on the exhibition, a

representative from Rheintacho UK says: “It offers the opportunity to promote innovation in the sensors industry beyond application boundaries. The networking possibilities also promote collaboration and referrals.” Sensonics is another company that will be

showcasing its products at Sensors & Instrumentation Live. The company is an expert in vibration, displacement and speed monitoring solutions. Its products are essential in turbine protection, vibration protection, vibration analysis, nuclear seismic protection, accelerometer, displacement and seismic transducers, and turn-key design, manufacture installation and project support. Among the range of products that

Sensonics will be exhibiting at Sensors & Instrumentation Live is the brand new, fully integrated XPRI Series. Building on their established Senturion
