reenBrook are delighted to present their new LED Fire Rated Downlight, the Vela Switch – a colour changing

(CO) detection, has launched the new 3000 Series. This technologically advanced series detects both Fire and CO and includes, for the very first time, a Multi-Sensor Heat & CO Alarm, providing whole property coverage from one Series. Unique to the 3000 Series, the Ei3028 Multi-Sensor Heat & CO Alarm has been much anticipated as a convenient, cost-effective, efficient solution to protecting residents from both Fire and CO. With high heat sources from cooking appliances posing a potential fire hazard and gas fuelled appliances representing a potential source of CO, combining Heat and CO detection in one alarm is a sensible approach, welcomed by landlords, contractors and residents alike. All alarms in the 3000 Series are backwards compatible with existing Aico products, including the ground-breaking Ei450 Alarm Controller and Ei414 Fire/CO Alarm Interface.

Smallest Shotbolt is Just 7mm Diameter M

agnet Schultz Ltd (MSL) has announced its smallest solenoid-based electric locking

component to date. The new sub-miniature GHUZ-007 shotbolt is 7mm in diameter and less than 21mm in length. It is ideal for a range of interlocking and electric lock applications including those in precision equipment, electrical enclosures and switchgear cabinets. The GHUZ-007 is a ‘pull type’ shotbolt, where the

de-energised state is locked. Solenoid actuation retracts the 2.5mm diameter bolt against an integral return spring. The unit is robustly constructed with a stainless-steel bolt and maintenance-free bearings for a high service-life. Mounting in a panel or fitting is by a central M6 thread. The new shotbolt operates from a 12-volt DC supply as standard, with lower voltages by request.

SPCPro 2 Portable Energy Logger

esigned to help you get the job done better, quicker and easier

Based on the well-proven "3 currents, 1 voltage" hook-up, the only voltage connection it needs is a standard 13A wall socket. For surveys where mains power is not available the unit's internal battery provides up to two weeks 'no voltage' logging (up to 12 weeks with mains power). Current measurement is via fully isolated flexible hoop CTs which makes the SPCPro 2 data logger incredibly safe to use.

• Easy to use • to use • 12 weeks memory

The SPCPro 2 is very easy to set up and connect and requires no detailed knowledge of electrical systems from the operator.
